About the Simulation
1.1 Welcome to the Business Finance Simulation
In this simulation, you will step into the role of a CEO leading a company that produces 3 types of products - namely Yellow, Blue and Green products. You will learn how a company, after determining its strategy, moves through the cycle of business: producing products, invoicing customers, and reporting financial performance. This version of the simulation consists of 3 business cycles, each representing a 30-day period. The full version of the simulation is more complex with 2 different types of market, more decision points and unexpected events.
1.2 Currency
The currency used in the simulation is simply in the denomination of units. For eg. a Yellow equipment would cost 4 units while a blue equipment would cost 8 units. Details such as equipment costs, operator wages, production costs, and maximum selling prices can be viewed by clicking on the Rules option on the Menu Bar.
1.3 Your Role as CEO
As CEO, you will make key strategic decisions that influence both operational outcomes and financial results. The simulation visually demonstrates how your choices impact the company’s performance, helping you develop a practical understanding of business operations and finance.
1.4 The Manufacturing Plant
The company operates a plant that can accommodate up to 4 units of equipment. Regardless of how many machines purchased, the plant has a fixed rental cost of 4 units per cycle. Each piece of equipment can produce up to 6 units of product per cycle, meaning you can manufacture up to 6 products per equipment simultaneously.
1.5 Products and Equipment
Your company can choose to manufacture three types of products:

1.6 Visual Indicators
Financial elements like cash or debt is visualized using coloured vertical bars on the visual area of the business. Each colour represents different categories of financial elements ie. Cash, Debt etc.

Your card or payment account details (if any) are transferred directly to our Payment Service Provider for immediate authorization and are never recorded or stored in our system. Once we have received authorization from the Payment Service Provider we will confirm your order.6. Disclosure of Your Personal Information
We may be required to disclose information about you to the following third parties: law enforcement agencies, government agencies and companies and/or organisations that act as our agents, contractors, service providers and/or professional advisers : subject at all times to any laws (including regulations, guidelines and/or obligations) applicable.7. This web-based simulatiin is designed as an educational tool to help users understand how businesses operate in the real world. In the simulation, you manage a simple manufacturing company that produces three different types of products. Through gameplay, you will make decisions related to production, pricing, inventory, and overall strategy. The purpose is to demonstrate how business decisions involve trade-offs and balancing different priorities. The results shown in the simualation are based on simplified business models and may not fully reflect real-world performance.2. Login & User Accounts
We use LinkedIn and/or Google authentication to log in to the simulation. This is only to verify your identity so you can save progress or scores. We do not store your passwords. Please do not share your account with others.3. Free to Use
The simulation is currently free to use. We may add new features or improvements over time.If any paid features are introduced in the future, players will be clearly informed and able to choose whether to participate.4. Simulation Data & Player Input
